Reporting to the IT Service Desk Manager at Renault Sport, you will be working within the busy IT Department at Enstone, Oxfordshire, providing 1st line technical support and assistance to all IT consumers within the Formula One team.
IT Service Desk Intern – The role
As part of this internship, you will be providing dedicated customer focused 1st line support to the entire formula 1 team. You will be responsible for repairing/replacing/maintaining end user computers, mobile phones and printing devices. Other aspects of the role will include administrative tasks associated to the successful operation of an IT Department.
Coupled with technical support, an important element of the role is to be a customer service point of contact for the Service Desk, liaising with users, with an emphasis on excellent customer service to instil confidence and build a positive relationship with all levels of users.
IT Service Desk Intern – The person
The successful candidate should ideally be an IT Graduate, who is able demonstrate a strong breadth of skills across a number of disciplines, particularly the Microsoft product range. This should include Active Directory experience in addition to strong client application and operating system skills.
We are looking for individuals who have great communication skills and the ability to be flexible and multi-task within a fast paced environment.
